Nology Hot Wires
Hot Wires are engineered with a unique built-in capacitor that allows
energy from the ignition coil to accumulate (stored) untill the voltage
can be released as an ultra-short, ultra-hot spark. Combustion is faster
and more complete, resulting in increased horsepower and a more
completeburn. Hot Wires are compatable with all aftermarket or stock
ignition systems. Electronic ignitions are preferred but satisfactory
results are achieved with point ignition when the points and condenser
are in perfect working order. Each Hot Wire includes a 23” or 30”
black silicone Hot Wire with grounding strap, 90 degree or 180 degree
(straight) spark plug cap, in-line wire connector and heat shrink tubing.

Requires non-resistor spark plugs.
Nology Pro Fire Compact Ignition Coils
Pro Fire ignition coils utilize advanced technology to supply the
energy needed for trouble-free high performance and high rpm
operation. They are designed to have the quickest rise time along
with substantial energy reserves. Spark voltage is in excess of 45,000
volts over the entire rpm range. Pro Fire coils come in single or dual
high tension towers and are available in 0.3 ohm, 0.6 ohm, 1.5 ohm
and 3.0 ohm. Coil connectors and boot are included. Sold each.
Note:
To determine which Nology ignition coil to use,
measure the primary winding resistance of your stock ignition coil.
Round down to the nearest whole ohm.
0.5 ohm and 0.6 ohm primary resistance ignition coils are for C.D.I.
type ignitions found on late model ATV, Dual Sport, MX. and Offroad.
Note:
Do not use Nology Ignition Coils on point type ignitions or on
the following models: Honda VFR, CB, CBX; Kawasaki ZX10, GPZ,
KZ1000J, Z1-900; Suzuki GSXR (early oil cooled), GS;
Yamaha FJ1100/1200 and VMX12 V-Max.
