APE stainless steel valves are precision manufactured from aircraft quality
Inconel based stainless steel. This special material offers excellent resis-
tance to heat and distortion.
**These valves are very high tensile strength SAE HNV3 steel, used be-
cause the factory seats on these models are too hard to get good valve face
life with stainless steel.

Honda SOHC K Models Stainless Steel valves with hard chrome stems.
These valves were developed by APE for use in the restoration of the
famed RC Engineering tap fuel drag bikes. Premium grade heat resistant
Stainless steel. Stems are hard chromed and precision ground, for maxi-
mum wear resistance.
APE carries the largest selection of super high performance stainless steel
valves. Available in standard and oversize head diameter. All stems are
hard chromed for excellent wear. True high performance valves for less
than factory OEMs.

APE High Performance Valve Guides
APE valve guides are made from special bronze alloy to resist wear
and heat. Precision machined with the bores finished to size. They are
designed to fit lower in the cylinder head to clear high lift cams, and use
APE seals or factory OEM seals. Sold in sets for models listed.
